GTR is being created as more than a start line and finish line. It is an invitation to experience the natural character and local identity of Mancherial.
A landscape made for exploration
Mancherial’s broader landscape brings together forest cover, distinctive red-rock formations, ridgelines, seasonal water bodies and earthy natural trails. These elements give the event a visual identity very different from a conventional urban road run.
The Luxettipet landscape
The proposed event setting is connected with the Luxettipet range and the wider Kawal landscape. The start and finish are planned at the same location, helping create a focused race village and community atmosphere.
Travel with respect
Runners should treat the destination as a living landscape, not simply a race venue. Follow route instructions, avoid litter, minimise disposable plastic, respect wildlife and local communities, and carry back everything you bring onto the trail.
Make it a runner’s weekend
Participants travelling from Hyderabad can plan an overnight visit, arrive rested, collect race information and experience Mancherial beyond race morning. Final travel, accommodation and reporting guidance will be shared through official GTR channels.
